As I went upon my way,
Weary feet begining to stray,
Dark clouds looming overhead,
Dreaming of hearth and home and bed,
A pinprick of light I did see,
But I thought my eyes did decieve me,
For all around the darkness loomed,
Weighing on me like one who was doomed,
But after a time the light grew stronger,
Pleading my feet and my hope to last longer,
For through many trials I had come,
Until my heart with grief was numb,
But finally the light spread gently o'er me,
And there was my Jesus, waiting for me.
In Christ,
Molly
